Welcome to CMULI Lecture Series
The purpose of the Chiang Mai University Lecture Series is to bring members of the community, students, faculty and distinguished presenters to the Chiang Mai University campus to explore regional issues affecting Thailand and the larger South East Asian community.
The CMU Lecture Series would like to promote a greater understanding of the many challenges and solutions affecting our shared common visions for the world in which we live, as well as reasons to celebrate our shared ambitions, interests and achievements. Through this exploration, we hope to contribute to and collectively shape a future we would all hope to someday be a part of.
In this spirit, the CMU Lecture Series presentations cover a wide range of topics impacting Thailand and the South East Asian community. They also explore the arts, culture and environment in a variety of formal and informal settings.
Presentations are held every Wednesday evening on the Chiang Mai University campus at the Language Institute Building. Registered Lecture Series Members and special guests are welcome from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Admission is also free for CMU students upon presentation of a CMU Student ID. At the end of each presentation, the forum is open for a period of questions and answers from the audience.
